Non-invasive prenatal paternity testing (NIPP): A blood sample from the mother is taken after the eighth week of pregnancy to identify fetal DNA in the mother's blood. This DNA is then compared to a cheek swab sample from the potential father. NIPP is 99.9% accurate and safe.
